Greetings to all from the Hoosier state! I have a 88 ranger xlt 4x4 I bought new .It wasnt running to swell so I parked it about 3 years ago in the barn.I decided to get the ol' girl whipped back into shape.I asked a friend of mine about an 86 Bronco II he had setting in his driveway for the motor(2.9) it only has 10k on it but he scattered the tranny. This thing is in great shape! He told me to come and get it and I could have it for nothing.Well now I have 2 projects to keep me busy. I started my search for on line goodies and came across this site and the ranger station. Decided to keep the 2.9 in the Bronco and go for the 302 swap into the ranger. Oh, if im not burnig the tires off somthing im burning up the airwaves.Been ham radio operator for over 30 years. WD9ICU :)>-

Welcome to Bronco Zone!!!

I had an 86-1/2 Ranger 4x4, it was a brute in the mud!!! Good luck with the 88, a 302 swap is tight but a good mod!!! <)
