im putting new rear spring hangers on my 92 bronco. i put grade 8 bolts in thru the back side of the frame. once i was all done the front top bolts on the bracket and the leaf spring bolts over lapped by about an inch. so i was wondering how far i can drop the gas tank without disconnecting the fuel lines and the electrical lines. im hoping for about 5 to 6 inches is that asking to much. I have a full tank of gas and now where to put the gas so i have too do this without spilling any any help would be helpful

you can unhook your fuel lines and ground your fuel pump and let it drain the tank into Jerry cans

I noted that you stated that you have no place to put the fuel.

How far away are you? I can arrive with an empty tank, you can put it in mine... no charge! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Maybe a neighbor would be willing to buy some from you.
