Gas leak

I replaced my sending unit but everything back together fine so I thought I went to fill the Bronco up today put in 1 to 2 gallons over what it can hold and fuel was leaking from where the port i installed the unit in so is there anything besides that gasket i can use to stop the leak or can i use rtv first it was the rear window now this

Did you use a new gasket? If so, it must not be installed correctly. I wouldn't use anything that might get into the gas and cause the fuel line or pump to become clogged.

Are you sure it isn't the vapor canister port they can get dry rotted and crack. Especially after dropping the tank and messing around there.
