1995 Full Size Ford Bronco. I am trying to figure out why my speedometer lights and door chimes aren't working. Fuse 4 Blows as soon as I turn my lights on. No changes to the electrical system. Has been working fine since I got the truck.

You have a dead short that is blowing the fuse. Check the back of the pannel cover to find all that is on that circuit. Then the unfortunate fact is , you need to trace the short. Look at where wires may pass through the firewall or other metal.

Good Luck

yo,

4 is for

exterior lamps,

trailer marker lamps relay,

warning chime,

instrument illumination

Check for short inside rear turn, brake, park lamp housing; my 96's wiring was pulled tight aginst 1/4 panel sheet metal and almost shorted.
