Is there a way to go to just one higher volume fuel pump instead of having two fuel pumps.

Which fuel pump needs to be changed the one in the tank or the one in the upper frame rail or should both be replaced.

It depends on which Pump is out. Either or can go, the upper one in much easier to change and the rear one is a bit harder.

have someone turn the key to the on position and check each pump. the ole ear in the filler neck will tell you if the rear one is working. and just feeling the one in the frame rail when you turn it on should tell you which one is working or not.

Only if you want to, if your not having any problems with it then why bother?? As the saying goes, dont fix it unless its bronken :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
