I I've been doing some maintenance on my 82 and I found a problem yesterday when changing my oil. There is a small hole on the side of my fuel pump that's shooting out fuel onto my oil filter. It only happens after the engine is warm. Is this a pressure valve or what? The same hole is on the new one I bought today. Its spitting out not running out. I dont know what to do. Should this hole be covered? Also, if I'm going to replace it, how to I gain access to the bolt towards the rear of the pump? There is what looks like a sensor that's blocking my access, any suggestions or ideas?
