i have a 1992 bronco with a 5.8 351and i need to change the fuel pump if anyone has any tips on how to do this the help would be great! i know its in the tank but thats about all i know so far.

2 ways to do it; (drain all fuel 1st) or cut access in floor pan to get to da pump & sender

one tip; buy a Ford Motorcraft pump

Yep, I have a 1' deep 20'' wide hole cut in my floor..get in get out..***** new metal down on top and put rubber mat back over..simple deal.

It may be a total bitch, drop the tank it's the clean proper way. If you get a couple of buddies to help it's not to difficult.

If you do drop the tank while youve got it down look for anthing else that needs work that might be easier with it out. Can save time in the future that way
