I have a 96, so this may or may not help. It wouldn't start about half the time and died on me once. I ended up changing fuel and air filter, plugs and wires, testing the ignition control module (good), and the thing that solved the problem was changing the distributor. My mechanic said he suspected the stater in the distributor but I changed the whole thing including cap and rotor and haven't had any more problems. Have you put injector cleaner in the tank? Hope this helps.i have an 88 bronco that has a problem running periodically. it acts likes it is flooding but it is fuel injected. Any suggestions?
