Front Conversion! got answers?

so, after a few unfortunate events, i've decided to convert to straight axle.. i want to get a dana 44 front axle, but don't have the cash for a new one..i'm gonna go to a junk yard a pull one from an old truck. i just don't know what year and make or model has them stock. anybody have an answer? please..

If you are looking for a strait axle DANA 44, you are probably looking for a 78/79 Bronco or F150.
