I know they can be done but what does it take, are the fenders grill and so on strait bolt on (would be too easy) or what would it take to convert my 87 to the newer style front grill, fenders, and all.

My brother is getting a 94 and we want them to match. (how cool would that be 2 brothers in matching Broncos hitting the trails)

Try searching the forums, as this has been discussed before. The swap from a 87-91 style front clip to the 92-96 style is a simple bolt-on, but you need the entire front clip as the radiator core support is different for the two styles. The mounting of the front bumper also changed due to a "crumple zone" in the 92+ frame horns.

Yes it really is that easy . You have to change it all but it fits just fine . The panel that the windsheild squirter mount to must be replaced too because there shaped different . then the fenders hood and rock guard and all grille work and lights . Im doing this on my 89 right now cause I dont like that square front end . should have the fenders back next week from being painted . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

wow can I do the rear fenders that easy (joke)

Im glad this isnt too big a deal to swap it out and think that this would be a nice tune up for looks on my big ole blue beast. My next major project is a new engine to replace the one in her now. She is a daily driven Eddie Bauer who never lead a pampered life, and has 207k miles now and well still is driving good. I may need to look into replacing my fuel pumps, but thats another story, I think mine is either not working well or if its a dual pump then one isnt working at all. Little tired but she is still ok.
