Alright guys I need some help. I have a 1986 Bronco and I was wondering if it's possible to put a 1992 f-150 body on it. If so , how would I go about doing it?

Well body wise a bronco and a F150/250/350 are the same from the front to the back of the doors all parts are interchangable . So youd be fine to put the body on that far . The front cab mounts should bolt right on but I think when you got to the back cab mounts thats where youll notice a difference so be prepared to move the body mounts or maybe even replace them with the F150 ones . Then if you have a short box the frame will be a couple inches short no big deal just longer bumper brackets . If you have a long box youll have to come up with a way of adding to the frame because the wheel base isnt going to be right a short box should look fine . Hope that helps :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Measure the width of the frame rails & body mount position's. Then if the cab will fit , shorten the box infrt. of the wheels, very easy to do in older trucks, Myself & cowboydan will be putting an 87 body on a 78 frame, as soon as it stops snowing around here. The basic principle is the same as what you want to do. As long as the mounts are close, you can use a bodylift adaptor, to line up the rest. :)>-
