Hey I have been searching for the right bronco for over 6 months and I finally found the right one! A 1989 bronco XLT with the Waldoch Pkg.

Here are some of the specs

-16,000 original miles

-A small amount of rust in the typical bronco spots

-Limited slip diff

-4.10 ratios

-Class 3 tow hitch

-Tcase skid plate

-American Racing Rims

-CATBACK Exhaust (not duel :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

-302 5.0

-AT

$1500 wow :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

What's wrong...

It needs...

-New manifold gasket

-shocks

-tires

-gas gage is stuck

-and a few other small mis match things

I have alot of body work and mods planed for the future I will try to keep you guys updaited on all of the work I do.

I will post pics soon.

OH almost forgot.....I have a question... The truck has a rear sway bar...Is that an option? Can I take it off?

Hi i dont want to be negative but how are the tires and shocks worn out if it only has 16000 miles on it? it sounds like a good find if it only has that many miles on it the trans t case and rears should be in great condition

tires probably have dry rot, sounds like an awesome find. What exactly is the Waldoch Pkg?

Tires are dry rotted... I didint think it had 16k miles when I bought it but the seller told me 16k ...

(it was found in a barn so it is possible) Any way loking at all the paperwork the old man kept I came to find out that the guy put extremely low miles on it per month and it sat for 5-8? years after the guy died. So knowing that and the fact that the interior looks new I do beleve the truck has 16,000 miles.

You know you can just buy an LED brake strip for cheap.. runs with running lights, and doubles in brightness when brakes are applied.. also works with turn signals

Anywho, nice bronco! Looks to be in great condition. Get a dremal tool and remove that rust ASAP before it continues to grow. Also the frame/underside looks pretty bad..should get that taken care of in a couple years too.

Hope ya have fun!

how much did you pay for your led light strip? All the body rust was removed with all different tools including a dremal, and sense just about all the rust was surface rust I was able to just use bondo to smooth it all out. Ok lol before I get the comments about how bad bondo is and how the rust will come back, I removed most if not all of the rust and this is just a temporary fix until I have the money to do it right. B)

Edit: I also have sprayed the chassis with old motor to prevent any more rust growth.

That's not mine. However I believe IIRC my buddy bought one that was $148.. it dimmed (park lights), brake lights, and both turn signals (half would flash per turn signal), and it would also light up bright white when put in reverse.

But I think just the regular versions are like $100 or so.

line of fire is what it's called.

Yeah... I had the led's from a project I did in the past so all I have invested in it so far is $1 and a few hours of my time :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> so I am very cheap ****
