Can I just weld the collectors together or is that frowned upon? My aluminum gaskets are leaking 2 spots on the passenger side and blows out regular gaskets non stop.

sure you can weld it up but you wont be able to take them out ever with out cutting the pipe. its all up to you, do you want to keep replaceing gaskets or not be able to get the headers out.

At the moment I see no reason id want to take the headers out, they are only a year old . They can cut the pipe if something comes up. I havent tried mulitple because they seems like it would make it even easier to leak. Right now Ive been using soft aluminum gaskets and they still leak enough to notice but not sound like crap.
