You should measure the height of the coils and call one of the parts warehouses. They will be able to tell you for sure if they can be used. The springs might be thicker steel and therefore, not useable because the spring retainers can't hold them in place. But call the EB vendors before you tear it apart.

Not to shoot you down then, but if you don't have the money to do it now, save up and buy a complete kit from someone like BC or Cage. They will have everything and it won't be a patch work job. Stay away from the Rancho, SuperLift or Skyjacker lifts. For a Bronco, they are garbage lifts for the money you spend on them.

very true....

then again the bargin lifts from the "bronco only guys" are just as cheap.. turns out this is 1 of them times you get what you pay for "and even in my case what you dont pay 4" like i told you in that pm lime green basicly all these or any cheap coils are really is stock or leveling coils for a f150....they do lift the truck.. but there stiff and dont flex well

K i was looking at purchasing superflex coils from bronco graveyard, wither the 3.5 or 4.5 since i have a the HD option on my Bronco I'd rather have it bulldoging than sittin higher in the back then putting either 2 or 3" blocks on the back or depending on cash gettin all new lifted leafs

how high can i go in the fron and rear without gettin new drive shafts?

depends, are you going to use it off road? if not you can go 2 1/2 without messing with them. if you plan on flexing the suspension at all its always good insurance to lengthen them.

again, the advise you have gotten from the other members is true. save your money and buy everything in one shot. try to get it from as little sourses as possible. the more you purchase from a single vendor, the bigger the break youll get from them. remember, the quality of the kits components and the quality of the install are the most important facts to consider. your life and any passengers with you depend on it. dont go cheap or cut any corners in this area.

Lime, I gotta stress it, don't buy certain things now and other stuff later. Save that money and do it right the first time. I was in your shoes once and did the very same thing you are thinking of doing now. Don't do it. I kick myself all the time for the boneheaded stuff I did when I was 18 and had my first EB. I learned a valuable lesson (both monitarily & mentally) with that one. On the one I have now, the only patch work stuff I have is things that have broke & been replaced. I am not a fan of blocks either. I don't trust them and I don't like the fell or looks of them. I am extremely high on the Cage products, so I would save that lawn mowing money to buy a Cage kit. They flex better than anything else out there and ride real nice and soft. Seeings how you are young, and I don't want you to take this as I am picking on you, but learn from the mistakes of others. Like I said, I did what you are thinking of and it isn't worth the headache, the money or the time of doing it twice.

i agree if your going to buy it all dont skimp.. as far as the blocks well.. if your not going to pounding it in the rocks i wouldnt worry about it to much. myself... i dont use them i prefer spring lifts.. if you still want them springs green (a havnt put them on a scale yet but im thinking 30+ pounds) throw them in with like 2 inch blocks "witch i still belive i have" or something and youd b alright 4 pounding the road and some mud for a bit...

I agree with S bolt . I'm 29, have a good job and it still took me months before I had enough saved up for my lift and tires etc. It's not cheap.

Rome wasn't built in a day!!! Be patient, spend money wisely and you'll appreciate it that much more. I'm always saving money for my horse - currently roll bar and bikini top, so I feel your pain because I want everything yesterday. I think we all do. Good luck....

if you are building it for an award at your school just throw a cool paint job on it, doll up the interior. a lift isnt going to change the fact that your EB will probably be the only one there, so that in itself should help ya.
