Has anyone ever put in exhaust stacks?

A friend put some into his 78 ford f150. Was wondering how it would look.

If I were you I would check with your local constabulary first, here in Oz the top of a stack has to be 3metres(9") off the ground, this only allows trucks to have stacks, and it would look funny on your rig.

damn good idea. I'll do this some day or just raise it up to the top fender. If you stall in deep water with stock exhaust (low) you will **** water into the motor while cranking. @-)

I've got a neighbor that removed the top, welded in a rear window section from a f150 (floor to roof) and put stacks on it. Looks like a short bed Kenworth. Looks great except it's dirt brown.
