w2hat would be an ideal DUAL exhaust sytem from the hedder back for an 89 bronco with a 302 5.0L. I dont want to spend to much but would love something other than stock. Also I'm looking for a new front bumper for a good price.. id love to get a push bar with headlight protectors. I tried bronco graveyard and they had nothing i liked.

:) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> unfortunately the terms "ideal dual exhaust system" & "I don't want to spend too much" are mutually exclusive. You can have one or the other but not both. The ideal system will cost you $$$$$ and a cheap system will give you what you pay for. A Borla cat-back system is among the best available & as far as cheap goes your best bet will be someone like J.C Whitney or a local shop who will do it for as cheaply as you can convince them to.

In the greater scheme of things having a custom bumper done by a local guy isn't usually much more than the high-end bumpers that you see online and in catalogs plus it has the advantage of being set-up *exactly* the way you want it. Just a thought.

it was $350 for dual glasspaks on my 87 f150, in my opinion they sounded amazing, the tips on the back were $25ea so around $300 from my hometown Scottsboro, AL

and by the way it had no exhaust when i bought it, just straight headers

miss that truck :S

one thing worth mentioning, and maybe someone else can back me up on this. when exiting out the rear you get bad exhuast fumes thru the back window when its down or even cracked a little. but this isnt an issue when your tops off.

I went to the local muffler shop (Bills American Mufflers) in Kansas and had dual Flowmasters put on my 89 5.0 for just under $300 if I remember right

I got your backon this. All the muffler shops, while making mme mad by saying they wouldn't touch my Bronco without a converter on it, said that if you get rear dual exhasut that the fumes rise back into your truck when your for say sitting at a street light.

most of the new flowmaster are aluminised , and hold up verry well , id look for a used set of flows and have a shop run them stright back with 2.5 pipe and eather exit by the tire , out the side (be sure to tell them if want it in front of the tire or behind and make it VERRY clear , not an easy mistake to fix ) and broncotough is sopt on with what he said ive got that problem now , or run it stright to the back , forget the tips for now if money is tight , the pipe can always be cut back and tips welded on later , bang for the buck , whole thing should coast around 250-300 and you'll have something you will really be happy with , also , if possable id hold out till you can find some stainless steal tips if you do much mudding as the chrome wont hold up for to long and will pit and rust badly
