Hello all,

I am being transferred in the next few weeks and I'll have to swap my motor or sell my Bronco. I have an 88 Bronc with a 351W. The bearings are going (low oil pressure after driving for 20min or so) and my mileage is down to 6.7 mpg city or hwy! I don't want to dump a ton of cash into it, so I was looking into picking up a 302 and dropping it in. Is there anything out of the ordinary I need to consider when making this swap... can I use a motor out of a car??? Any help would be appreciated.

You will need to change the computer and if you use the car intake you will have to figure something out for the air box . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Why not rebuild it or buy a long block from one of the auto part stores, theres not much of a difference between the 302 and 351 except power. Good luck though!
