Please help I took a straight 6 eng. with tranny and tranfer out of a 1983 bronco and want to put a 302 efi out of a 1986 bronco. problem trannys to short oil pan hits center frame so motor mount dont line up. any help with this would be great andy ideas where to look would be great. thank you all

The bellhousing pattern and the mounts should be the same on 300,302, and 351W. They all use the same starter providing the starter is matched to the number of gear teeth.

if our trans on the 300 is fine you can just bolt up the 302, and if the 86 had an a0d trans then you can use the computer from it, otherwise you will need to find a comp for a 302 with an aod trans.

because an aod trans has no electronics on it then the comp will be usable with any non electric trans.

IMHO the 300 carbed motor is way better than a fuelie 302, but thats just me. but it depends on why you want it.
