Locally you can get one from Autozone, or just doa search on the net for Ford 351W short block. There are plenty of sources for a block.

Good luck,

The 351 is a small block, while the 360 is a big block. That is based on the actual size of the block. The term short block can be applied to either a small block engine or big block engine.

The short block is a term for the engine minus heads and anything else required like ignition, carb or EFI, etc.. With a short block you provide the heads, cams, etc. This allows you to go for more performance stuff.

You may want a long block, which is a block including cam and heads. From there you can transfer the other stuff from your old engine. It is pretty much a drop in whit you doing the minimum of work. Based on what you said about the use of the truck, you probably want to get a long block.

Good luck,

:)>-
