Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and am hoping someone can give me some direction. I have a 89 bronco XLT full size with the 302 CI motor and 4x4. I was having some problems with what appeared to be electrical, I replaced the ignition switch and when I was done the heater/air conditioner, blinkers, rear window defroster, no longer work. Did they give me the wrong switch at the parts store, or did I disconnect something without realizing it while the steering colum was dropped?

Right click on each and select, Open in New Window to enlarge

In both years;

Heater /AC on Fuse 9

blinkers, back-up lamps & rear window defroster on Fuse 5

Pull each & inspect carefully; if you have a meter, check them electrically

If good, or no power to Fuses; Inspect & test ign sw using this wiring diagram in an 89

If you just replaced the ignition switch, do the alignment procedure: http://broncozone.co...h__1#entry36920 . Contacts may not all be making connection.

Good luck,
