Anyone have any success running only an electric fan with a tempurature controlled switch? Can it be done to work on an early bronco? Driven mostly on the street

I see the JBG has one that will fit that moves 3000 cfm of air. I assume I would have toi upgrade my altenator

Would love to get rid of the belt driven fan for a few more mpg

Thanks

Hey Hosdi, Welcome

I converted to an electric this summer. It works great, even in the heat hear in Fla. I installed just as done in this link: http://www.supermotors.net/registry/media/272149

I did have to upgrade my alt. I got a 160 amp. from www.rjminjectiontech.com/collections/alternatorsm RJM... I recomend getting the Alternator charge cable kit as well.

Got my fan used from Seabronc, ( thanks Fred) I think it was from a Lincoln Mark VIII. Set the therm.stadt to turn the fan on at 190 and off at 174.

It was an easy conversion....works great.

Good Luck
