Electric Back Window on '89 Bronco

My back window goes up & down great when I use the key in the tailgate, but the switch on the dash works intermittantly. Sometimes the switch works & sometimes it doesn't. Most times it doesn't. Is there some sort of adjustment at the tailgate that could cause this or do I just need a new dash switch?

I dont know if it's the switch or not, mine dose the same thing when the bettery is low, you might have a diffrent problem though.

MY 89 was doing the same thing if you kept pushing the button it would move so I changed the switch and havent had a problem yet . /emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

It could be the switch or one of the connections on the way back to the tail gate.

I would venture a guess Bronco bull that yours might improve if you took the connectors apart and cleaned the contacts. Reseat them using dialectric grease to keep moisture out.

Thanks for the suggestions! I pulled the switch out, sprayed the contacts on the plu & switch with contact cleaner, reassembles, and it works great now. Thanks! /emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />
