I am looking at getting some new seats for my 1969 bronco. Does anyone know what else I will need to install them? Can I use the old frame/rails from my stock seats on the new ones (Corbeau) or do I need to purchase rails, if so where can I get that to fit the early bronco?

thanks - L

Lonton,I bought new procar elites, and I ordered them with steel sliding brackets,I think the passenger side tips the seat back for passengers to load in the rear.If I could do it over Id check out those Beard seats,I saw them right before K-Bar S bronco went under ,and they seem to set you lower down so you can see out of that low front window. I bought my seats at Wild horses and the brackets were specific for the Procars.I believe you can get Bronco specific rails for most ...Mastercraft,Procar...and Beard ...etc...

Good luck

Lonton, Welcome to Bronco Zone. You will most likely need to get the mounting rails/brackets for whatever brand of aftermarket seats you buy, as they will likely have different mounts than your stock EB brackets. I have PRP Racing seats in my 84 Bronco, and fabbed some simple brackets to fit the stock seat mounts. Check the Tech Articles forum for my link on that. Places like Tom's Bronco Parts also offer new seats with brackets. Not sure of the brand but they look like Recaro, with the Bronco logo.

thanks guys. That was what I was looking for. I was hoping to be able to purchase some of those 165.00 seats (the pair) off of ebay and throw them in. The shipping was another 150.00 but the seats looked good. I think they were Nismo or something similar. Thanks for the tips, I am off to Tom's Bronco Parts since I am really looking for something that is "bolt-in" without a bunch of fabrication or .... you know.

Thanks

I don't know if you bought some seats yet; but, if not, please research this option:

The prices are very reasonable, and the customer support is untouchable. I plan on buying all my seating needs from these good folks real soon.
