E40D Tranny Valve body worth it?

Is a valve body for an E40D worth the cost? I've been seeing them sell for about $180. I have 135k on my 94 bronco.

look at it this way, if your truck doesnt drive because thats what you need, 180 bucks is wayyyy cheaper than a new trans, your lookin at well over 1500 installed

The bronco runs great, shifts great. I've just bought it, i have a 89 BII and my dad has an 71 EB. i'm thinking of a valve body being a preventative maint.
