Hi to the Bronco community,

I am new to the forum and recently purchased my first Bronco (74). It will be undergoing a full restoration soon and am trying to come up with the best suspension options. My primary use will be running it in the dunes but definitely want it to have good street manors. I am oblivious to the characteristics of the Bronco as I have always had and currently own a Jeep Wrangler. The main obstacle is the short wheel base. Obviously I can't change that factor. What I have learned is wheel travel is key. Dune running is a higher speed form of off roading (for those who have never done it) and the biggest challenge is the sudden and frequent moguls that can leave you picking your teeth up off the floor. Just looking for any advise that you may have. I am not set on any particular size lift etc. but do want run run 33 or 35" tires.

Thank you

Hi 74, welcome..!! >:D< <'>

The latest & greatest can now be had at most all the EB (Early Bronco) stores.

They all have the 11 pack rear leafs & progressive front coils. The 11pacs have great travel & a smooth ride. Prices vary just a little.

3.5 lift should be plenty & avoid top-heavy.

BTW "Full restoration" means "STOCK".. :-B

What you're doing is medium (i.e.not highly) modified.

----come to mind.., & there's several others.
