got an 89 xlt with an EFI 306 and i have tru dual exhaust, which meansd the o2 sensor is only in one of the pipes, will this cause one side to run rich and the other to run correctly, or will it run fine the way it is?

as long as the engine is in good running condition it should be close. if u had a miss fire on one bank it could throw off the reading a little, but for the most part it should be ok. does your exhaust run down one side of the truck or is it on both sides of the engine. because if it is going down one side u could put in a h-pipe with the oxygen sensor in the middle of it. other wise the pipes would be too far apart to get a good reading. :)>-

I've got true dual exhaust with O2 on passenger side. Pipes exit either side just behind rear wheels. No x-pipe. No problems. Knock on wood.
