Having trouble keeping the front u joint in my rear driveshaft. My 78 Bronco has a 4" lift and rear end is still in the stock position. It has a Superlift with blocks under the leaf springs. I've had guys tell me to rotate the rear end upward and others say to just put in a CV style joint. It flew apart on me a while back while going down the road(after a little burnout :-& #036; ) and I know that it more than likely needs balanced now but this was a problem before. I'm just looking for a little feedback and maybe somebody here has gone through this. :-"

i would do both. Tilt you rear end so it's in line with the angle of the driveshaft and put a cv joint by the case.

I had the same problem and I went for a new drive shaft cv style I ordered it on line for about $235.00 from jeff's now it's like a new truck runs real smooth. shaft came all set up with new U-Joints and the works I did need to buy the U-Joint cap bolts. Good luck

Thank you, I may check into that. I just bought 4.11's, Detroit Locker for the rear, and I am currently looking for something to fill the front Diff so when it warms up a little I'm going to work. $-)
