We recently installed a rough Country 2 1/2" lift and 33" tires on my son's 92 Bronco. Since then it has developed a nasty vibration from start to about 40 mph. - above 40 it goes away. The vibration dosen't change weather in 4x4 or 2x4. It is really evident when letting off or slowly applying the throttle. The U joints seem ok - could it be something in the transfer case? It sounds like it is coming from under the rear of the drivers seat. Help - he is out of money and really frustrated!! :((

hmm well, id start by making sure everything is tight and the u joints are ok, replace them anyway, they arent much, make sure the shafts are all ok and ive heard that when after installing a lift the front end may need to be aligned, try that, i doubt thats it but you never kno, sounds liek a balance or looseness problem to me

Have you had the tires ballanced? When I rotated my 33's I got a lot of vibration in the steering wheel around 50 mph. Then had them ballanced. problem solved.

The tires were balanced and the front end aligned after the lift was installed. The vibration is definitely coming from somewhere in the drivetrain.

I've heard of people putting a lift on there trucks and the driveshaft angle be off a little. I'm not sure if that's it but maybe something to look into.

Thanks for the info! I was thinking that was a good place to start. The rear driveshaft is really angled now - i'm going to disconnect it and just run the front axle to see if it goes away. Thanks again!
