Please bare with me on this for I seem to have run out of places to turn without forking out lots of $$ which I have yet to receive from the stimulus package so here it goes: 1990 Ford Bronco 4x4 Eddie Bauer Edition - After releasing the accelerator there seems to be a sound similar to a revving/grinding when downshifting, but it sounds like it is coming from the area just behind the driver seat which is where the transfer case is located. I am in 2 wheel drive not four at the time. This vehicle is for my son who gets his license in two weeks and this issue is making me sick. Any help would be greatly appreciated - Thanks!

I see not many takers - If I could get any advice as to an avenue to go down it would be great. FYI - All fluid levels are are at optimum levels.
