ok its not that cold in texas but when i drive in the "cold" my door like gets frozen open so when i open the door it wont latch close i have tried wd-40 and it didnt work whats the most likely problem?

Is the thumb button stuck inwards and not popping back out? If you can take it apart and clean off the WD-40 and use grease. WD-40 is like water and only works for a few tries and dries up or wears out fast. Grease up that latch and door handle parts after you clean them up. Graphite can work well too.
