Anyone out there have information on, or try to modify stock early bronco door hinges so that they are removeable? Looking to see if anyone attempted this instead of buying the kit for $295. Any info, pictures, or knowledge would be appreciated.

What I did was remove (cut off) the bottom portion (at the pin) of the body side of the hinge. Then swapped the drivers and passenger side hinges (making the bottom of the pin the top). After about 2-3 hours of f^&*ing around re aligning the doors they easily lift on and off.
