door hinge pins

has anyone replaced the door hinge pins on a 92-96 bronco? i got some from oreilly's and they have an eclip with them. it looks like oem pins are pressed in from both sides like i may have to cut the pin in the middle and drive out both halves. the new pins look so much diff. i wanted to ask 1st. the guy at the part store swears these are the right ones. was just wandering if anyone had ran into this and how they made out. thks.

The factory pins are "stamped" on the top, so they can't slide down. The replacements do use an e-clip to hold them in. And yes, you'll have to cut the old ones and drive them out. I've replaced my hinge pins with 3/8" bolts, so I can quickly remove the doors for offroading. But in my SFo gallery, I have some pics of the hinge pins and how their done. thks for the reply's. if i use the new pins should i put the pin in from top and put the eclip at the bottom or vice versa?

The e-clip should go on top, after you put the new pin in from the top. IF you decide to remove the doors to work on the hinges (easier access), Steve83 has a good detail on alining the door again in his SFO albums. JSM84
