Was wondering if anyone can confirm that doors for the years 80-96 bronco and f series are interchangeable body lines,hinges and all. I have an 86 bronco and looking  at door from 87-92 body style they all look the same but just want to make sure before i jump on anything too quickly

yo B,

Here is a compilation of info I have found over the years;

The groupings are 80-86, 87-91, and 92-96.The door shells will swap, but not any of the parts attached to the door shells, such as interior panels by Dustball

The minor differences for 80-81 & 95-up don't matter, but the mirror holes might

Interiors; 87-91are different than 92-96. & the colors will be off & the vent windows would have to be changed. The different years wont match at the dash either.
Rear quarters and tailgate are swappable. On the interior in the back, the panels are different as well as the top trim. The rear seat belts are different on the 92-96, theyare attached to the topper shell and to the top of the wheel well. Because of the rear seat belt diiference, and the high stop light, tops are different.....but will fit. by J.R. N

pay attention to this body line / lip on the bottom of the door. (see attached picture)

my 96 had it, but it looks to only be on the eddie bauers??

i pulled a replacement from the junk yard without looking at this line, so now i have one with it, and one without it.
