I am building a mudtruck out of a 1985 Ford Bronco. I want to change it from an electronic distributor to a points distributor.

Will a distributor from a 1975 Ford 300 engine work on a 1985 Ford 300 engine?

sw76- The distributor should work whether its a single or dual vacuum

why do you want to do that?

i dont know my history but wasnt the 75 duraspark?

my 85 300 runs fine with everything unhooke(eec/emissions related).
