My '90 302 has should most likely needs to have its diff checked out, what should I expect when I do this? :blink:

thats kind of a vague question, what needs to be checked out? is it acting funny?

You can change the oil if you want and look at the gears to see if they seem damaged. Beyond that you will pretty much need to know what you are looking for and how to measure tolerances. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

nothing is broken, but it does have 166,800 miles on it. So if it ain't broke now, it will be.

Well don't be afraid to open it up. Get yourself a new gasket first.
