My '90 302 has should most likely needs to have its diff checked out, what should I expect when I do this? :blink:

You can change the oil if you want and look at the gears to see if they seem damaged. Beyond that you will pretty much need to know what you are looking for and how to measure tolerances. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

However, if you are willing to learn, get a Shop manual, Haines, or Chiltons and go ahead. Here is a place that thinks you can do it and has the stuf you need to learn. Click on their tech pages link http://www.accuautoparts.com/index.jsp

nothing is broken, but it does have 166,800 miles on it. So if it ain't broke now, it will be.
