By the way John, the book you really want is the 1983 EVTM. It is the best book you can get for troubleshooting electric and vacuum problems. One is for sale on ebay right now for the buy it now price of $13.00. ****** it up, you will be patting yourself on the back for year for being so smart as to buying one /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> .

The only trucks to use the EEC on a 351 in 83 were the California trucks. If that is the case with yours, here are the EEC pages plus the some pages that explain it's operation.
