dash wiring

I am changing my dash from one with the dummy lights to one with the gauges. The one with the gauges has a wider plug than the one with the lights. I have a donor truck I took the dash and the plug in out of, but like a dummy i didn't write down which color wires came out of which terminal. I can go by a wiring diagram I have if any of ya'll have a truck with the gauges ya'll could tell me the color wire on each number terminal.Have ya'll ever done anything like this before? Also by the way I have a 1979 Bronco with 351M 4speed 33inch tires and 3 inch body lift. I also have a 1984 bronco for parts if anybody needs any just email me and i will see if i have what you need. thanks

You might be able to go to each sending unti on the motor and find out the colors their----then go back inside the cab and seen what goes where. They are color coded and if they do help you----write them down and get back inside and wire it back up. Good luck
