i'm new here and have a question?

i've done all the back tracking i can on the sight and came to the conclusion that some where there was a wire grounding out to the sending unit causing the gauge to rise up and down to full then back down to normal reading, but once back tracking i found no breaks unless its on top of the tank. any other conclusion to what might be wrong if there isnt any grounding isues?

i would pull the gas tank and check the sender and wires if you traced all the wires and have not looked there it has to be there or at the gauge

how would i know if it was the gauge since its easier to check that then dropping the tank.

i would go and buy a cheep one at a parts store and hook it up to see if that works or if you a meter fluke meter you can check for open circuits and open grounds check the ohms that is a start for ya

Good luck :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
