Good...now I don't feel like I carry too much sh*t around with me. Oh, I do have an old ammo box with towing chains, a huge ratcheting strap...and I've always got a blanket, a spare pair of jeans, boxers, socks and a T-shirt. Also, plenty of fuses. I usually have a roll of duct tape too...but have to use it and replace every once in a while due to heat. In the winter I keep a sealed container of rock salt and sand. And since I hate factory jacks and lug wrenches, I keep a four way and 2 ton jack with me too.

well it started leaking in the same spot again. this is unbelievable. i checked the hose clamps and they are tight as a drum. if i had long hair i'd pull it out right now. i have no clue what the deal is. i've checked and rechecked and taken it to the shop and they've checked and pressure tested and replaced the faulty brand new goodyear house. it stayed bone dry for 3 days- not a single drop and i checked daily- and today i went out saw a leak on the dway opened the hood and there was the leak in the same place.

any guess is better than mine at this point. i'll take it back to the radiator shop tomorrow and get them to look again on their dime. since i already paid for that on monday.

sorry i had an extended weekend sort of. it's the lower hose - see my other thread- seems as if the water pump ****** - where the hose meets the pump- may be going bad and the lower hose is slipping down low enough after a few days to spray coolant. i can tighten the new clamp and it'll be fine for a few days then it just slips. guess i shouldve replaced that water pump when i redid everything else.

I am amazed at the stuff yall carry around with you. Are your broncs primarily mudders? Mine is daily rider and mudder just not much lately. I don't trust the bronc yet. I did it all the time in my old one. THis one is a bit different. I don't feel the power I need in it. I am working on getting things adjusted and geting a new carb.

no mines a daily driver i don't even know where i can offroad here yet. if i don't trust her on the road yet, no way would i trust her on a trail in the middle of nowhere. so i haven't even considerd off roading here yet.

i've been in LA for almost 7 months (i'm from San Antonio too! just moved away in march after 21 years!). one day my coil went out and i was at an intersection and evryone just honked while i pushed it out of the intersection by myself. so i swore after that day i would have some emergency extras on hand at all times. and some tools. of course that was a while back and now i have her really reliable (other than the coolant leak) but, until my engine gets totally rebuilt i always have that fear in the back of my head. better safe than sorry- especially out here- it's a lot different than home. noone will lend a hand out here, in texas a complete stranger will stop and ask if you need help . and san antonio rush hour is nothing compared to even regular traffic here- and rush hour here is like **** on earth. in san antonio a 20 mile drive takes around 20 minutes. here in LA 20 miles can be a 2 hour drive. so yeah i carry emergency stuff. and my girlfriend has AAA.
