I was considering converting over to a 8 lug ttb. Would that be a DANA 50? does anyone have picture of the conversion? is it even possible?

thanks

The very easiest way to do this is to find a chevy 3/4 ton axle you need the caliper mounting plates / the calipers / spindles / hubs and rotors . You can keep your outer stub axles they will work just fine and if you already have manual lockouts they will work as well . You must cut your current caliper mounts off your steering knuckles at this point there is no going back . The spindles have the same bolt pattern as the TTB so they will bolt right on along wiht the caliper mounting plates after thats its just reassembly . I have done this conversion and its the easiest way to make the front 8 lug a dana 50 was meant for leaf springs and if you were to get it setup for that you might as well put a straight axle under it at that point . The above " DANA " parts are the key :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
