Compression readings depend on too many variables to be that specific in a manual.

Combustion chamber size, compression ratio, valve timing etc will all affect the readings, as well as mileage, wear and tear.

Most 302's should be from 115 to 140/150.

Take your highest and lowest readings, they should be within about ten percent of each other in a good engine.

Lowest reading/ highest reading= percentage... ie; 145/130=89.6%

I had a feeling that was the case, but guess I incorrectly read somewhere that there would be maximum values for a specific engine. You hit the nail on the head with my engine though, my highest was 145, low 130. right at 89%. thanks.
