just installed the new air intake .took it on I -95 and all i have to say is WOW. i was actually feeling the gravity pushing me against the back of the seat.. .K&N sent me a dyno report using a 94 bronco with 130000 miles and it showed an increase10 more horsepower .the take off from a stop was really improved. i really dont know why everyone was putting this product down but to me it was well worth the money. one question i do have is what is the difference between the k&n air intake if you have a MAF or if your truck doesnt have one

If it does have one, they need to make sure the kit they send you will properly mount up to it without air leaks, or the engine won't run for squat. The ones without probably just have the filter mounted right to the intake tube.

It wasnt that we were putting them down it was more the fact your truck already came equipped with a cold air intake. I am really surprised at that much of a difference but at least you are happy with your decision. I mean on a car without one it is a great add on and K&N is the best in the business.

No prob. Just keep in mind, that when you clean and recharge that filter, DO NOT over oil it. Those air flow meters are sensitive to just regular build up, but the oil will ruin them. I've seen it a hundred times. Have no idea on the dizzy though, never had any reason to change any out so far. <the engine project is going to be towards the end of my list, just as long as she hold out.>LOL

i did not put the truck on a dyno . but K&N sent me the results .on a 94 full size bronco with 130000 miles 5.8 engine the H.P. was increased over 10 more H.P .. and i believe it. i think the results in my truck may be more. the performance in my truck is exceptional.
