i think you may be wrong with this . last year i put in a K&N filter only and i noticed a big difference.and before installing the filter only i always kept the filter clean .i went under legit. reviews of people who put the whole K&N system in noticed significant improvement in performance and a increase in fuel mileage . well any way any thing new you put on you vehicle is an upgrade considering the truck is 15 years old

Well if it does I guess I could be wrong. I do know it does on a honda but never heard much on the broncos improvement. Like you said though newer should help out some.

Unless it takes in air from outside the engine compartment, it isn't a cold air intake. Like previously stated, the truck came stock with a cold air intake. In fact it came with an intake that adjusts the temperature of the intake air which is needed for proper operation of the engine, especially in cold weather. The existing intake is capable of supplying more air than your stock engine can gulp down.

50Joe, I heard you get a 20% increase in your 0-60 time by replacing those lights. Hear tell it comes from the reduced air friction of the slick plastic. :-"

Good luck,

:)>-
