My 92 is making an annoying clanking sound on anything but smooth pavement I thought it was just one of the wheel cap thingamajiggers but I tightened those so it is something a little more complicated, If anyone knows a likely culprit some info would be greatly appreciated, also got a minor case of the shakes don't know if its related but some stuff has got to be worn out I got 170,000 miles on it.

you might also want to check out radius arm and axle arm bushings. especially with that kind of miles.

also might want to check the coil springs. I just took my truck in for a tie rod and found out my coil spring on passenger side was broke in two
