Hello,

I am new to this forum, however I used to have a fullsize bronco and my wife used have a bII. My aunt now has one and is is a tough spot financially, plus her fly wheel is worn out. She asked if I could fix it and I said I'll look into t but I am not sure. I have never done one of these on this type of car, I don't even remember what the under side of my wife's looked like. It is going to be hard, I imagine that I can unbolt the drive shaft from the back of the tranny and unbolt to the tranny to drop it. to get access to the converter and flywheel, I know to bolt things back up to torq. specs but is there anything that I should be aware of getting into this? Are the bolts for the tranny a pain in the butt? by the way it is a 4x4 and I think it is a 2.9?

I really appreciate your help with any suggestions and help you can offer.

it should be a 2.9 v6 if its a 4x4, the only tip i have is to support the engine with a jack and wood when you drop the trans, but let the motor tip as much as you can, the B2 may have the floor pan piece that unbolts like the FSB to make the top trans bolts easier to get to, but a fe extensions will get the job done
