Pulled the codes today and got six different ones. I'm looking for input on possible fixes for these. Codes are listed below in the order in which they were displayed. Thanks in advance for the help.

172 : System indicates lean

179 : Fuel system at lean adaptive limit at part throttle, system rich

332 : Insufficient EGR flow detected

171 : Fuel system at adaptive limits

617 : 1-2 shift error

628 : Excessive converter clutch slippage

I replace the EGR valve two weeks ago, so I think that may just be a stored code from earlier. Should I yank the battery and reset the system to get updated codes? The tranny does shift a little bit hard from 1st to 2nd, but it's not too bad yet. Is this possibly a sensor of sort, or an internal transmission issue? I've got a 351 that doesn't have as much power as it should. I've checked my compression and all eight cylinders are good. The engine had a fresh tune-up about 8,000 miles ago. I suspected that I had an issue in the fuel system and the codes seem to confirm that. Any ideas fellas? I'm pretty new to the Bronco scene, but I'm mechanically inclined and willing to tackle just about any job. I'm just trying to find a good starting point. Thanks a ton.

Stuck EGR valve

Leaking diaphragm or EVR

Exhaust leaks before or near the HO2Ss

Low fuel pressure or running out of fuel -Leaking or bad fuel injector(s) or fuel filter; when was it last replaced?Vapor recovery sys

Excessive fuel pressure

Air leaks after MAF

172 : System indicates lean

Same as 171

Right or Rear HO2S

332 : Insufficient EGR flow detected

Poor continuity in EVP harness or connectors.

Open or short in EVP sensor or harness.

Damaged EVP sensor.

Obstructed or cracked vacuum hose

Detonation and/or Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Illumination w/ DTCs 332, P1407, and/or P1408, TSB 96-23 Caused by buildup in the Exhaust Gas Re-circulation (EGR) groove of the intake manifold (throttle body base. by Ford via autorepair.about.com
