If you go on ebay they have the 6 inch for around 500 and the 4 inch for just below. To be honest, I'm trying to do the same thing and everyone I ask says go for the 6 because you'll only wind up regretting spending all that money on the 4inch just to want to go bigger in a few months....although I do know some people who are perfectly fine with their 4 inch lifts.

Its all about what you use your truck for. I currently use it as a daily driver and I camp or go wheelin in the mountains which is mostly hillclimbing every weekend. I only need to go 4 inches and that is perfect for what I use my truck. If your gonna go rockcrawling or jump the thing maybe you need higher but fo an all around rig smaller is better. remember a 4 inch with cut out flares to open the fenders can easily clear 35's and a 4 inch will give you PLENTY of clearence for 33's to flex. A shorter rig is a more stable rig.

you can fit 35s with no lift(if you dont mind cutting:)

read the posts that are locked at the top of this forum. There are things you need to be concerned with when lifting a ttb suspension and your front end alignment. Also make sure these kits include things like brake lines, shocks, etc. Also remember the larger tires the more work for your brakes as well.

I have a 95 XLT and put a 4" rough country lift on it ony because i wouldn't be able to get it in the garage if I went 6" but most kits you can adjust to a 6" if wanteded lift comes with the predrilled holes allyou need is new shocks and drive shafts plus you can run 35's with nomajor cutting but thats my understanding
