Can anyone tell me if there any negative effects on how the motor runs if I install a 4bbl intake and carb on my 79 Bronco 351M and remove the air pump and emissions.

While I won't advise you on how to remove any emissions equipment, you don't want any open vacuum lines if you do. If you're installing an aftermarket intake, it may only have one vacuum port and you'll need to re-route or block off some of the lines from your 2bbl intake setup. JSM84
