I used the centech a while back. I wasn't real impressed with it because it wasn't "as advertised" from where I bought it and it was tough because the directions were not very well written. I also had a tough time w/the cust. service when I bought it, but that was quite a some time ago. I have heard loads of good about the Painless. There is another guy who is an EB guy who also builds complete harnesses. I think his name is Ryan McCormick, I can find out for you if you want. Anyway about his harness, I have heard lots of good about it too. PM me if you want me to try and find out some info about his harness.

I have a centech and it is fine. Directions were fine. I converted to a duraspark and electic fuel pump at the same time and it was fine.

Concur. Although I think the directions were not completely clear...I'm an electical bolo...and I figured it out. Admittedly, I do not know how it compares with the Painless setup.

You might want to give Ron Francis Wiring a look. A very nice well labled system that also includes grounding, which is where most of the freeky problems come from. He used grounding blocks that are connected back to the battery rather than the chassis. Also his wires are labled as to what they go to.

Good luck,
