Does anyone out there have step by step instructions on how to take the dash or dash pad off on a 1994 Bronco? Most of these are step by step sequence and I dont want to break anything. I just want to get another CD player in, the aftermarket one in it is bad.

i had mine installed for me for free when i bought my stereo but, isn't the dash already cut for the aftermarket player? or installed where the original was? woudn't you just use a stereo puller to pull out the old one? and then rewire and install the new one? if it's the same brand stereo it should just snap in but if it's different you may have some soldering to do.

just curious i can build you a PC blindfolded but something about auto electrical makes me panic.

No. I'm switching from a Jensen to a Kenwood. Both of these models are somewhat thinner or more narrow than the stock Ford cassette player that was in it. It has a plate that is around the Jensen and behind the dash pad. I dont know how to get the pad off.

If you're talking about the sleave that holds the player in then all you have to do is get a flat head screwdriver and bend the little prongs back down. One thing you may have to do is bend the sleave in the middle to access the prongs. It's a rather easy job if you just look at it. I would get you some picutures however, I'm out to sea on my ship right now so it's pretty difficult. You don't need to take apart the dash to get to it though, that would just make life **** if you ask me. Have fun and be easy on the stuff...

if u need to get behind the radio easest way is to remove the glove box door verry simple just let it hand down on it's stops and then bend the plastic so the stops go around the edges. and then u can reach up and behind the dash. but u shouldn't need to remove the dash pad. just go to a local radio store that sells Jensens for the radio keys :)>-
